To my Uncle & my hero,
I will never forget sitting by your side on the couch & watching with fascination as you stuffed your pipe with cherry tobacco and you explained the art of pipe smoking! You were kind, loving and you always made me feel welcomed in your home. When it was time for me to retire, you kindly showed me to my assigned bed and tucked me in, saying your famous saying, "close eyes!" As your obedient niece, with love & adoration, I followed your command! Now it is time for you to close eyes and be in God's loving embrace.
