Obituary of William Acevedo Jr.

William “Billy” Acevedo Jr was born December 20, 1964. He passed July 1, 2024, in Brooklyn, where he was born and raised. 

William was Army trained, which is one of proudest accomplishments. He was also a proud Union member (Local DC 37) and worked as a paralegal & investigator for the City of New York.

His love of cooking was known by all. The self anointed “Iron Chef” loved to grow his own fruits, herbs, and vegetables. He was known for his excellent culinary skills, with his pernil recipe was one of the most requested. 

He was a tremendous fan of science fiction and fantasy. His lifelong love for Star Wars, Star Trek, video games, and comics, was he eagerly shared with his loved ones.
