Obituary of Anna M. D'Amelio
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anne D’Amelio, our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who left us on June 15, 2024 after a beautifully lived life of 97 years. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, daughter Christine and husband Joseph and son Louis; her sister Connie; her grandchildren, Melanie and wife Emily and Nicole and husband Gabriel; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Tobias. She was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1980. While she will be deeply missed, we know she is happy to be called home.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took God’s hand when I heard the call;
I turned my back and left it all.
