Obituary of Madalene Sabino
This is the passing of our mother, Madalene B. Sabino. A Brooklyn native born on April 8, 1937, and moved to Venice Florida in 2020, receives her angel wings on June 9, 2024. She is predeceased by her parents, Vittina and Guiseppi Miraldi, brother Saverio Miraldi and, spouse Louis A. Sabino. She is survived by her 8 children Angela, John, Joseph, Vera, Louie, David, Dominic, Anthony and their spouses, 26 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and very dear friends. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, grandma, great grandmother, friend, coworker, Godmother, aunt, and sister.
Her attributes include being a member of the Neo Catechumante of St. Edmund Parish, Brooklyn, New York. There she served as a Eucharistic Minister, and member of their past bereavement group and helped out at the at St. Edmund Elementary School Christmas Fair. Madalene did community service and worked as a secretary at Maimonides Hospital Department of Psychiatry. Madelene also participated and helped out with the Brooklyn Bedford Park 9/11 Memorial every year. Her biggest attributes was her love of God and Faith, sharing his words and works with others. She also was a member of the Franciscan Order for Lay People. Her deep faith in God inspired many who needed to hear the word of God. She was part of the Rosary and Divine Mercy Group. Her life of spreading God’s love is greatly appreciated by all. May she rest in peace and in God’s delight. She will be greatly missed by all. We love you our dear mom, grandma, great grandma, aunt, and friend. Til we meet again.
Wake service will begin on Sunday June 16, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. The second day of visitation will continue on Monday June 17, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234, 718-339-8900.
Funeral mass will be on Tuesday June 18, 2024 at St. Edmund's Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. 1902 Avenue T Brooklyn, NY 11229.
Committal service will immediately follow to Green-Wood Cemetery. 500 25th Street Brooklyn, NY 11232.
