Obituary of Anthony Palone
Anthony Palone entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the age of 85. He was born on April 5, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Romo and Marie Palone (nee Pecoriello), where his legacy of kindness and generosity would blossom over the years.
Anthony's life was a testament to compassion and selflessness. His unwavering commitment to helping others earned him the endearing nickname "Saint Anthony" among those who knew him best. He possessed a remarkable ability to see the good in every situation and to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. His gentle spirit and caring nature left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
A connoisseur of antiques, Anthony had an impeccable eye for beauty and a passion for collecting timeless treasures. His exquisite taste was admired by many and served as a reflection of his own refined character.
Throughout his life, Anthony shared a profound and enduring bond with his beloved partner of over 30 years, Julius DeLuca. Their bond was a source of strength and companionship, enriching each other's lives in countless ways.
Anthony will be dearly missed by his loving family, including his nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends who cherished him deeply.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the repose on Sunday, May 5, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, located at 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 6, at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, located at 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, followed by interment at the serene grounds of Green-Wood Cemetery, where Anthony will find eternal peace.
Though Anthony may have departed from this earthly realm, his spirit of kindness and generosity will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and cherished.
