Obituary of Peter N. Smith

Peter Smith, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 87. He has now reunited with his cherished wife, the late Virginia Smith, in the eternal embrace of Heaven.

A loving father, Peter leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion. He was the proud father of Maura (Danny) Mulvey and Sharon (Michael) Gallagher.

Peter's greatest joy in life came from his role as grandfather. He adored his grandchildren beyond measure, finding delight in every moment spent with them. Katelyn, Colleen, Emily, Michael, Virginia, Matthew, Ryan, Danny, Peter, and Cecelia were the lights of his life.

Though he will be deeply missed, Peter's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace, knowing he was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales RC Church on Thurday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mas at St. Charles Cemetery.
