It was happenstance that I read about the passing of Roberta...we were friends in our youth...I met Roberta because I worked at NYU. and we both lived in Marine Park...Was she beautiful, smart (Magna Cum Laude) but more: she was my friend in our youth.
We visited art galleries, museums, college dances, and we had great times...once we double dated with Manny and a friend-to a jazz club...Life parted us..and I finished my degree and met Paul, an artist, and a music buff...and Roberta set the stage...with our visiting all the 'hot new art' that took over the '60's "Good night sweet princess, and may a host of angels sing thee to thy rest.'
