Obituary of William P. Volpe

William P. Volpe, age 73, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 4, 2024. Mr. Volpe was born September 7, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late William P. and the late Rose A. (Furnari) Volpe, Sr. Beloved husband of almost 51 years to Diane M. (Calannio) Volpe. Loving father of Vanessa Volpe and her husband, Jesse Stancati. Cherished brother of John S. Volpe. Dear uncle of Crissy Volpe.

William was the life of the party, known for his kindness, humor, and love for animals. A practical joker with a fondness for Elvis Presley and du-wop music, he had a passion for old cars and dancing. A perfectionist with a good sense of style, William was a loyal family man and a hard worker. Despite his mischievous side, William had a warm and welcoming demeanor, making friends wherever he went. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband and father, deeply missed by all who knew him.

Reposing on Friday, March 8 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 9 at St. Columba R.C. Church, 2245 Kimball Street, Brooklyn.

 

Burial to immediately follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
