Obituary of John M. Sloan

John M. Sloan, age 78, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Mr. Sloan was born March 8, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Josephine (nee Curran) Sloan.

He is survived by his wife Joan (nee Carney) Sloan.

Cherished father of Kellie Fitzgerald (Joseph,) John Sloan (Tiana,) Patrick Sloan (Colleen) and Megan Sloan.

Grandfather of Emma, Katherine, Timothy, Kiera, Patrick, Deirdre, Sean and Conor.

Brother of Josephine Cooney, the late Michael Sloan and the late Patrick Sloan.

Forever In Our Hearts

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 29 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas RCC.

Burial to immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
