Obituary of Paul Gallagher - Donahue
Our beloved Paul “Pod” passed away on February 7, 2024, in his hometown of Manahawkin, New Jersey with his children by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, where he grew up and made lifelong friendships. He graduated from William E. Grady High School, class of 1976. Paul started in the supermarket industry in his late teens, where he continued to work as a manager until he retired in 2021. Paul was a hard worker, but also knew how to laugh and smile, even on rough days. Paul was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. He would do anything and everything for anybody. He was always a listening ear, shoulder to cry on, and a helping hand. Paul loved his children but adored his grandson. He was their biggest supporter no matter what. Paul was selfless, kind, easygoing, and fun loving. He was always up for a laugh, making funny videos, wearing funny outfits, or doing any dare. Paul was predeceased by his father Bernard Donahue and mother Hazel Donahue. He is survived by his daughter Kristie Galdon, son Matthew Galdon, grandson Kyle Galdon, dogs Panda, Oreo, and Thunder; along with his sister, aunts, uncles, many cousins and close friends. Paul will forever be our rock!
