Obituary of Michael Donovan

Michael Donovan, age 69, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Born on July 5, 1954, in Brooklyn, he was the beloved son of the late Thomas and the late Dolores (Barlow) Donovan. Michael is survived by his loving daughter Kristy Peterson (Kevin) and grandchildren Faith, Merissa, Alexa Rose, Michael, Kaylee, and Lorenzo. He was a dear great-grandfather to Bentley and Matthew. Michael was preceded in death by his beloved son, Patrick Michael Donovan. He is also remembered fondly by his cherished brothers James Donovan, William Donovan, and the late Thomas Donovan.

In this time of sorrow, may the memories of Michael's life bring comfort to all who knew and loved him. He will be forever in our hearts.

Reposing on Thursday, January 18 from 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Friday, January 19 from 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Prayer service will be on Friday January 19, 2024 at 7:30 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024. The procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:00 AM and process to the burial at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, New York.
