Obituary of Ann Julia Kowalski
Ann Julia Kowalski, a beloved wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 72. She was born on February 15, 1951, in her beloved hometown of Brooklyn, New York, to her late parents, James Joseph and Mary A. (White) Smyth.
Ann was a devoted wife to her husband, Michael Steven Kowalski, and a loving mother to her daughter, Christine Gunther. She adored her role as a grandmother and held a special place in her heart for her grandsons, Chase and Dalton.
Ann was known for her easygoing nature. Her happy place was undoubtedly the beach, and she found great joy in her visits to the sandy shores of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and bid their final farewells at the Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, on Friday, November 10, between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 11, at Resurrection R.C. Church, 2331 Gerritsen Avenue, Brooklyn,
Ann Julia Kowalski's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
