The name Rita means gem in Greek. As you can see, Rita was aptly named. Matt and Josh you were her Crown Jewels. Your gave her two diamonds for daughters -in-law. You completed her jewelry collection with the dazzling and sparkling grandchildren you gave her, All of you are her living legacy. Farewell Miss Rita (what I called her) Love Mr. Mike (what she called me)

Rita was optimistic.
She could find the answers to questions or how to find those answers.
She shared her life stories. And she adored her sons, daughters-in-law and gramdchildren.
She was a joy to work with and will be missed.

Rita and I met 55 years ago at a CCNY baseball game that Bob and Barry were playing in. We became fast friends and “”family and had many fun times together. She was always there for us and we had a lot of fun times. She loved to talk about Matt and Josh and their family and her grandkids. We shared stories and life in the many phone calls we had.
May her memory be a blessing to all her family and friends
Love, Barbara P

I have been friends with Rita for 70 years. I know she would laugh at that. The memories we shared were both hilarious and sad at the same time. She was so proud of both her boys and could talk endlessly about her beautiful grandchildren. We had great times of mostly laughter at 2286 and that is how I will always remember her.

Rita was a friend since I was young growing up in 2386. Many wonderful years watching Matt and Josh grow up. So many adventures once we went to AC lost all our money and your shoes. Driving to Florida with Robert, Susan and the boys was an adventure. Going to see Coming to America waiting for the bus I believe it was the coldest day ever. I will miss you very much. Thank you for being my friend. May your memory be a blessing to the boys and their family.

Dear Rita,
You were my Best Friend. We shared so many special times and and I know and take comfort in the fact that there wasn’t one time that I didn’t make you laugh.
If I was Carson, you were Ed McMahon!
Will remember you as always smiling, full of life.
You will always be family.
I know you suffered the last few years and I hated it.
Rest in Peace
Love,
Barry, Amber, Jaime, Brad, Jessica ,Jake and Justin
