Obituary of Patrick Solomita

Patrick Solomita, age 86, of Brooklyn passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Patrick was born November 26, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Anthony and the late Antoinette (Magnotta) Solomita. Patrick served honorably in the US Army. Patrick is a retired Lieutenant from the New York City Police Department. Patrick was the President of the Bergen Beach youth Organization for over 40 years. Patrick is survived by his loving wife Margie Solomia (nee Fatale); his loving children Anthony (Geanne) Solomita, Patrick (Michele) Solomita and Donna (William) Storz; his loving grandchildren Anthony, William, Brandon, Patrick, Christina, Patrick R., Eliana, Vincent and Christopher; and his loving sister Constance Papapietro. Patrick is predeceased by his sister Felicia Nicodemo

Visitation will be Friday, February 8 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
